CE Credits

JustCoding.com and JustCoding Platinum currently offer continuing education credits through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
 
Platinum members also can receive continuing education credits for e-learning courses through the AAPC and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). To become a member of either JustCoding.com or JustCoding Platinum, click here.
 

JustCoding.com

As of September 9, 2009, due to a change in AAPC CE policies, paid JustCoding.com members will have an opportunity to earn a 0.5 continuing education credit per week from the AAPC by taking a 10-question quiz that is based on multiple articles from each week’s issue of JustCoding News.

In order to receive your CE credits you must do the following:
1. Become a member of JustCoding.com.
2. Read articles in the bimonthly e-newsletters JustCoding News: Inpatient and JustCoding News: Outpatient.
3. Take the accompanying quiz that is common to all applicable articles and get all 10 answers correct.
4. Print out the certificate that contains your name and the Academy’s unique index number.
5. To report your CEU, access your CEU Tracker and submit it online to the AAPC.
6. Maintain a copy of the certificate for your records.

Members will receive a 0.5 continuing education credit per quiz. This program has prior approval from the American Academy of Professional Coders for a 0.5 continuing education credit per quiz. Granting of this approval in no way constitutes endorsement by The Academy of the program, content or the program sponsor. JustCoding Platinum

JustCoding Platinum members also have an opportunity each week to earn a 0.5 continuing education credit from the AAPC. CE credits for e-learning courses
JustCoding Platinum also offers credits for e-learning courses from the AAPC and AHIMA. In order to receive your continuing education credits for e-learning courses, you must do the following:

1. Become a member of JustCoding Platinum.
2. Read the complete e-learning course.
3. Take each course’s accompanying final examination and get all the answers correct.
4. Print out the continuing education certificate of completion.
5. To report your CEUs to the AAPC, access your CEU Tracker and submit it online to the AAPC. If you have a question or would like more information, go to the AAPC Web site.
6. Top report your CEUs to the AHIMA, go to the AHIMA Web site.
7. Maintain a copy of the certificate for your records.
